Grameen HealthTech Limited (GHL) needed a modern, scalable, and content-driven corporate website to represent its healthcare vision and flagship product, Shukhee — a 360° digital health platform. I designed, developed, and deployed a fully dynamic portfolio website using Next.js, Prisma ORM, MongoDB, and a custom-built content management system (CMS).
The platform showcases GHL’s mission, leadership, partners, products, blogs, vlogs, and events — all managed through an intuitive admin panel built with React.js.
Delivered a fully dynamic, CMS-driven corporate website within a tight project timeline.
Built a custom CMS for blog, vlog, and event management, tailored to GHL’s workflow.
Implemented dynamic management and partner sections for easy updates without developer support.
Created a dedicated React.js admin panel with secure API integrations.
Developed a scalable backend using Prisma + MongoDB with clean schema architecture.
Achieved strong performance and SEO scores through SSR, ISR, caching, and image optimization.
Ensured a responsive, mobile-first experience across all devices.
The project needed to be completed quickly as GHL had important corporate presentations and product launches coming up.
Challenges
Multiple modules had to be developed simultaneously (CMS, website, admin panel).
Parallel API development and UI development required fast iteration.
Learnings
Efficient planning, modular architecture, and reusable components significantly reduce development time.
Setting up a tight feedback loop between backend and frontend makes rapid progress possible.
The project involved multiple stakeholders with different expectations and content requirements.
Challenges
Requirements changed frequently as the branding team refined the corporate identity.
Needed to ensure all stakeholders had a unified understanding of CMS structure and intended features.
Learnings
Early UI/UX prototypes and feature demos help align expectations quickly.
Maintaining clear communication channels and documenting requirements reduces confusion.
Frequent check-ins prevent major revisions later.
Blogs, vlogs, events, leadership profiles, and partners all required different structures.
Learnings
A modular CMS architecture with reusable CRUD patterns ensures scalability.
Designing schemas carefully makes future expansion painless.
The website needed both strong SEO and rapid CMS-driven updates.
Learnings
Using a mix of SSR, SSG, and ISR works best for corporate portfolio sites.
Proper caching and incremental builds significantly improve performance.
I handled the entire project from scratch, including:
Designed and implemented all corporate pages.
Built dynamic content sections connected to CMS.
Focused heavily on SEO, SSR, and mobile performance.
Designed database schemas with Prisma ORM.
Built secure and scalable Next.js API endpoints.
Implemented validation, authorization, and error handling.
Developed a powerful CMS for managing:
Blogs
Vlogs
Events
Management team
Partners
Built media upload and content preview systems.
Developed a clean, intuitive dashboard for content editors.
Integrated CRUD features with secure API communications.
Deployed to production with domain, SSL, and environment configuration.
Set up DB indexing and optimizations.
Architecture: Monorepo-style structure with Next.js for both UI and API.
Database: MongoDB Atlas + Prisma ORM.
Rendering Strategy: SSR + ISR + client-side hydration.
Security: JWT-based admin authentication.
Media Handling: Optimized with Next/Image.
Performance: Caching, database indexing, and optimized queries.
